Business Risk Services

busisness risk

We focus our energies on analysing potential risks for businesses. We help our clients to manage and maintain good financial controls so that they can detect and prevent fraud, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and ensure their organisations are being run well. Many of our clients have overseas operations so, once qualified, you could find yourself going to all sorts of far-flung places.

The function provides internal audit and process assessment – as well as specialist advice on Sarbanes-Oxley and other governance issues.

As a first-year trainee, you will be:

  • advising on ways to improve their financial controls
  • interviewing clients to understand potential risks
  • documenting business processes
  • writing reports
  • designing processes
  • doing research and gap analysis

You may also have the opportunity to specialise in one of these areas:

Technology Risk Services

We help clients to directly manage the risks arising from their use of business technology. Typically, this will involve Information Security Business and Continuity System Changes. We help our clients improve the control and security of their information systems – and help them build robust defences against an ever-widening array of external and internal threats.

Not for Profit

We help public sector organisations to address the challenges of governance, risk and compliance. Typical clients in this area include departments of state and regulators. By helping our clients to successfully balance risk and control, we significantly enhance the value delivered to stakeholders.
