Chris Rainbird is a Director within our Government and Infrastructure Advisory team. Chris joined Grant Thornton from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a Director in their Public Private Partnerships team and a lead adviser to the public and private sectors on strategies for capital investment and service delivery and the procurement of capital projects and services using various forms of Public Private Partnership (PPP).
Experience
Chris has provided strategic and financial advice to clients in a range of sectors including education, health, transport, utilities and waste, and over the last ten years has been closely involved in the development of the PPP markets in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Chris was the lead adviser to the Department of Education on its strategy for planning, procuring and delivering investment in the schools estate in Northern Ireland. He also advised the Northern Ireland Water Limited on the procurement of a major programme of water supply and wastewater investment and operational services using PPP (Projects Alpha and Omega).
