Experience
David joined the Official Receivers Service in the High Court in London in 1966. He was appointed a Senior Examiner in Bankruptcy High Court in 1977 and transferred to Companies Winding Up High Court in 1979. He was seconded to the Bristol office of the Official Receivers in 1983 to run the Companies Winding up team of examiners and joined Grant Thornton in 1984 as a manager in the Cardiff office. David obtained his insolvency licence in 1987. He has taken appointments in almost all sectors since 1990. He was liquidator of Spectrum Plus Ltd which following the House of Lords decision in 2005 is the definitive case on charges over book debts. He has been the Insolvency Service observer on the R3 General Technical Committee since 2000.
