Francesca Lagerberg is the Global Head of Tax for Grant Thornton International. Previously she was the UK Head of Tax (now Jonathan Riley) from 2008 to April 2013 and headed up our National Tax Office.
Francesca joined us as a direct entry partner at Grant Thornton in 2006 after 15 years of tax experience. She is a past Chairman of the Tax Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a former Council member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She sits on a number of Her Majesty Revenue and Customs' committees and was one of the tax practitioners invited to join the Coalition's Tax Professionals' Forum.
Francesca has become a well-known commentator on tax issues in the national and professional press. She also lectures all over the UK on topical tax matters She was named by the leading UK 'Private Client Practitioner' publication as one of the '50 most Influential' in their 2013 survey of Private Client Practitioners in the legal, accountancy and banking sectors.
