I joined Grant Thornton in 2007 and have the pleasure of working with dynamic, interesting and inspiring individuals and organisations on a daily basis. As managing partner in Scotland I am responsible for a team of 200 people, providing vision and strategic direction. I am passionate about working with business, challenging their thinking and helping them unlock their potential to grow.
In my 30 year experience I have worked with many large and multinational organisation, mainly in the large private and listed space, with a particular focus on technology, property and construction, automotive and food and beverage sectors. I have a keen interest in constant self-development and helping others develop their skills and career. I work closely with a number of individuals within Grant Thornton and externally, in a coaching and mentoring capacity.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, Karen and two children, Sophia and Zachary. I try to keep fit, so a few gym visits a week is my aim but I also enjoy watching sport, particularly Rugby, running, cooking and skiing.
