Malcolm works in our Assurance Group, specialising in listed, venture capital backed and other companies with external investors.
Malcolm joined us at Grant Thornton in 2001. Previously he has worked with PwC where he acted for a number of household name businesses and was a member of their retail/pharmaceutical/construction industry groups.
With 20 years' experience in Assurance, Malcolm has responsibility for increasing the non-statutory assurance services the firm carries out, including IFRS and USGAAP conversion projects and providing accounting support to large corporate businesses where their auditors are prevented from acting due to independence concerns. He is the Office Managing Partner of the Milton Keynes office.
Malcolm's expertise covers:
- acting as audit partner for public (full list, AIM and CISX) companies
- reporting engagements, include opinions given under both International Financial Reporting Standards and USGAAP/USGAAS
- non-statutory assurance work for larger corporate entities such as control reviews, IFRS conversion and non-statutory reporting opinions
