Mike Dalton is responsible for the delivery of Stamp Taxes advice across the UK firm. Mike also provides advice to all categories of client in relation to property acquisitions and disposals.
Experience
Mike has been with Grant Thornton for 9 years, having previously worked for a Big 4 firm. He has over 12 years experience in Stamp Duty and property related Taxes.
In recent years, Mike has delivered successful SDLT planning and mitigation strategies for clients on high value property acquisitions. He has worked with property developers, property investors (including property funds), housing associations, private individuals, corporate groups and partnerships and has particular expertise in advising on complex transactions.
Mike also provides more general tax advice mostly to large corporate clients, and has particular experience in the rail sector.
