Peter works in our National Assurance Services team, specialising in risk management and ethics. Peter is the Firm's "ethics partner".
Peter joined us at Grant Thornton in 1988. Previously he worked with Coopers & Lybrand in London for 13 years, where he progressed from audit trainee to technical senior manager.
With over 25 years' experience in the audit of pension schemes, Peter is the co-author of the CCH book, Pension Schemes – An Industry Accounting and Auditing Guide. He chaired the working group that produced the current version of APB Practice Note 15, The Audit of Occupational Pension Schemes in the United Kingdom (revised) and is an occasional speaker and writer on audits of pension schemes. Peter is the engagement leader of the audits of a number of large UK pension schemes and he also provides technical support to other Grant Thornton partners who have clients in the sector.
