Sally is an experienced expert within Grant Thornton, heading up the Forensic team in the North and Midlands where she undertakes a variety of forensic work.
Experience
Sally trained as an accountant within a big 4 firm, qualifying in 1989. She then spent eight years with a medium sized firm where she undertook a variety of investigative work, including corporate finance and pre-insolvency assignments as well as forensic work. She moved to another big 4 firm in 1998 to specialize in forensic accountancy and subsequently joining Grant Thornton as a partner in 2003.
Sally has written and lectured on forensic accounting issues and has lectured to fellow accountants, barristers, solicitors and corporates. She has given oral evidence on a number of occasions, covering Crown Court, County Court, Court of Session and in Arbitration and has been appointed an Expert Assessor by the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
