Eric Williams (Partner)
Eric is a Partner and Head of Tax for Grant
Thornton in the West Midlands. He is a specialist Entrepreneur and
Private Client Partner focusing on strategic tax planning and
wealth management for wealthy individuals and their companies.
Experience
Eric joined Grant Thornton in 1995. He is a former Inspector of
Taxes and has specialised in tax advice to private companies and
wealthy individuals for over 25 years. Eric speaks widely on Tax
matters and, over the last six years he has specialised
particularly in advising wealthy individuals and has built a large
EPC team in Birmingham, which won the prestigious LexisNexis HNWI
Tax Team of the Year Award in 2007. Eric has considerable
experience of corporate tax advice to entrepreneurs, including
company reconstructions and he is also very experienced in the
fields of Serious Tax Investigations and the tax and financial
aspects of divorce and matrimonial proceedings, where he regularly
acts as an Expert Witness.
