Ian Carr (Partner)
Ian works in our recovery & reorganisation
team, with a focus on haulage, agribusiness and professional
practices. Ian's principal focus is corporate restructuring.
Experience
Ian joined us at Grant Thornton in 1999. Previously he spent
several years in industry as the finance director of a major plc
subsidiary. With 16 years experience in recovery, Ian has handled a
wide range of restructuring and insolvency appointments including
administrations and court-appointed receiverships.
He handled the administrations and receiverships of, amongst
others, Warranty Holdings Limited, Manor Farm Ducks and Marshall
Bus Company Limited. He also acted as Liquidator on the
restructuring of two grain companies and the subsequent merger.
