John Watt (Partner)
John leads our Infrastructure and Government
Advisory teams in Scotland and Northern Ireland, specialising in
the provision of financial and strategic advice to both the public
and private sectors on such matters as strategy, project
feasibility, business case development, commercial terms, contract
negotiation, risk analysis and mitigation, bid strategy, financial
evaluation and financial structuring. He works on projects
throughout the UK and internationally.
Experience
John joined us at Grant Thornton in 2002. Previously he spent 5
years as a Director in the Andersen Infrastructure team and prior
to that a number of years advising on infrastructure projects for a
merchant bank. John also has 10 years corporate finance experience
covering acquisitions and disposals as well as Stock Exchange
transactions.
John advises on a wide range of projects in sectors such as
transport, ports, education, further and higher education and
infrastructure sectors.
