David Ascott (Partner)
A qualified chartered accountant and MBA, David
joined Grant Thornton in 1999 to specialise in advising on Private
Equity transactions. He previously spent 13 years with Gresham
Trust where he completed 40 deals comprising a range of IBOs, MBOs,
MBIs, Development Capital and early stage transactions. David has a
wealth of experience of dealing with Private Equity backed
companies from both an investment and advisory perspective.

- David has 18 years experience in the field of private
equity
Recent experience has been across a broad range of sectors
including Media, Business Services and Leisure transactions with a
number of mid market Private Equity firms including Kleinwort
Capital, LDC, Graphite, Gresham and Rutland.
