David Miller (Partner)
David is an audit partner in the London office of
Grant Thornton. David focuses on working with the firm's larger and
more complex audit clients, in particular those listed on the full
market and on AIM and also on major international assignments.
Experience
David joined Grant Thornton in 2002, following 20 years at a big
4 firm. During that period, David had a full client facing role as
an assurance partner in the Information, Communications and
Entertainment practice. His clients included major FTSE100,
dual-listed, telecoms and media companies and a number of other
listed companies. He also led a team working with a major client
towards a full London listing. Other clients included two major
international professional practices, one magic circle law firm and
a major international estate agency business.
His current portfolio at Grant Thornton includes Sports Direct
International plc, TT Electronics plc, Media Square plc, SR Pharma
plc and Business Systems Group plc. He has considerable experience
of working with companies in the media and entertainment, computer
hardware and software and telecommunications sectors.
David is a member of the firm's Assurance and Emerging Issues
Group where he takes an active role in the management of risk and
quality control review. Since 2005, he has led the London
Technology Group focused on service to clients in that sector. He
recently participated in an ICAEW working party focused on steering
best practice on Audit Quality
